We managed to get out to the IBO Winter Nationals last Saturday for a few hours.  Even though it was cold, there was still a big turn out.  We saw trucks from over 5 different states. 

We arrived at the Beaumont Ranch around 1:00 PM on Saturday.  I was immediately impressed with the ranch facilities.  We parked near the large barn, which was the main hosting area of this event.  The weather was cold and windy but there were shooters everywhere outside.  Some were finishing registering and others were waiting on the shuttle to carry them to a shooting event.  This event was well organized.  The Cowtown Bowmen Archery Club did a great job hosting this event.

The Carbon Express trailer was there and set up showing off all of the quality arrows that Carbon Express manufactures.  Be sure and check out all of the arrows that Carbon Express is offering this year.  I know you will find an arrow that will work for you.

Bowtech had representatives at this event showing off all of their new bows.  I stopped by and talked with David about the Bowtech line of bows and I was very impressed with the quality of bow that Bowtech is producing.  They have come out with some great new bows.  Be sure and check out the Bowtech line of bows.

After we made a pass through the main barn, everyone was hungry so we headed for the buffet table.  There were all kinds of food and the buffet was an all you can eat! 

After we were through eating the kids jumped in the bouncy house and then we headed out to watch a few shoots.  It was cold out so we only watched a few shooters and then headed back to the truck.

I have never had an interest in shooting any type of competition but after visiting this event, the whole family has an interest in participating in this part of the fun world of archery.  This event was very family oriented and there were plenty of things to do for the kids.  We even got to watch the award ceremony for a youth division before we headed home.

If you ever get the chance go and visit one of these events.  It is a great family outing even if you do not want to shoot!
